On September 9, testers from all over the world are celebrating their professional holiday, The Tester’s Day, which symbolizes the discovery of a computer bug in 1947, by American computer scientist & United States Navy admiral Grace Hopper 🐞 From that day on, the common term “bug” or “debug” emerged!
SO you probably think I made a mistake by writing a month instead of a day but this is not a “bug” ❌ This is our idea to cherish & show our appreciation to the loyal “guards” of software, the ones that are forever fighting bugs, to provide a powerful user experience for all across the globe 🙏 And since fighting bugs is our daily base mission, we thought it will be obvious to celebrate not only a day but a full month!
Therefore, don’t say: Happy Tester’s Day but rather say: Happy Tester’s Month 🎉 Starting from today Sep. 9 till Oct. 9 I’m making sure you are celebrating this month properly with a few suggestions for a full experience 😉
