TestProject Conducting Survey on State of Open Source Testing

State of Open Source Testing

TestProject is excited to announce the launch of a first-of-its-kind survey to investigate holistic trends across the open source testing landscape. This 15-minute survey is being organized through Tricentis with the joint support of Flood and SpecFlow.

Through this joint initiative, Tricentis aims to collect a wealth of data covering diverse topics including, BDD, functional testing, and performance testing. By reaching out to thousands of practitioners, we hope to shed light on important questions such as:

  • Why open source testing tools are so popular?
  • Which open source tools are used most often? Which are most successful?
  • What pitfalls exist when using open source vs. commercial testing tools?
  • Who is using open source testing tools?
  • What trends in open source tools are specific to certain use cases?
  • Where (geographically) are open source tools most and least popular?

Following this survey, we will publicly distribute a detailed report outlining our findings for the community to explore!

All survey respondents will be entered to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards which are being provided via a random drawing 🎁✨

We will only collect your email to provide you the survey results and to enter you in the gift card drawing. We value your privacy and will not include your email in any of the survey analysis or results.

If you are interested to support our research and have a chance to win free prizes, please fill out the survey at the link below before April 24th, 2020:
